Cake Smash Sessions
What happens at the Cake Smash?
Are you looking to celebrate a special occasion in style? Here at Tara Daniel Photography, we know how to celebrate!!

Come along and dance, sing and party eat cake and splash about in this fun filled 2-hour studio session.

Well start with singing and dancing to your little one’s favourite songs whist they show off their special birthday outfit. Then we’ll take a shot break for cuddles and a chance to change into another outfit before we all get mucky and tuck into some cake. It would be rude to send you home with a messy child, so our cake smash sessions also include a splash or milk bath element at the end to help your little ones calm down and clean off all that cake.
As a mum I know all to well how important the cake is for your little ones and a lot of parents pride themselves on creating their own beautiful cakes to celebrate with. So our sessions are planned with an option for you to either bring your own cake from home or we can arrange to order a cake though a local baker for an extra cost (These are usually around £40-£50)

~ your 2 hour photography session
~use of themed backdrops and props to suite your style
~ full editing of 30+ images
~ Viewing, choose between an in studio viewing session or 48 hour access to your private online gallery to view your images and choose your favourites.
~ one 8x6 print in a luxury white bevel mount.

How I Work
Consultation
After your initial enquiry well start our journey like all good friendships, a good face to face chat with a cuppa and some cake!!

No seriously we do!!
​
This is my chance to get to know you and your family so I can tailor your session to what you will enjoy.
​
I then send you all the boring paperwork via email but I also throw in a little e-book to help you all get excited and prepare you for your session.
Your Session
The fun part!!!
​
Using all the information we combined in the consultation your photography session is sure to be a relaxed and fun experience for all!
​
I plan the session and the poses you ask for around fun based prompts and games. There may be the occasional "look at the camera and say cheese" moment to get that perfect picture for Grandma but they are few and far between!!
​
It's so hard to wait to see your pictures!! I know I've been there so I provide every session with a sneak peak of 3 images within 24 hours!
​
The Viewing
Sit back, relax, sip some bubbly and get ready to watch your personalised slideshow.
WARNING !! This part can be emotional but don't worry we provide tissues!!
​
Then once the initial tears are out the way and you've got your breath back we then go through the images individually choosing what ones will work for your dream artwork.
​
There are samples of products and digital software to show you just how your final products will look.
​
Don't worry you wont be going home empty handed! Whilst it may take up to 3 weeks for your finished products to arrive you will get to take home a small printed copy of your favourite image
